The road to 2017 general elections keeps smoothening to the current President Uhuru Kenyatta who seeks to run for election using the new wheel as CORD keeps destabilizing with other people joining his move.
Yesterday, New Ford Kenya party dissolved to pave way for the formation of Jubilee Party, the political vehicle Uhuru and his deputy William Ruto will use to seek re-election in the next year’s General election.
This was announced by their party leader, Ken Lusaka confirming that members would join the Jubilee Party. The party dissolution idea was arrived at during Monday’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting.
“We have resolved as the NEC of this party to dissolve and we shall all be going to join the Jubilee Party. We are doing this to ensure unity in the country by bringing Kenyans under one Party,” party leader Ken Lusaka told a press conference at a Nairobi hotel.
