Ford people party has waded into Madaraka Day Celebrations attendance saga and urged its supporters to join President Uhuru Kenyatta at Afraha Stadium,Nakuru to mark the day.
The Ford People National Chairman Albert Nyaundi stressed his party stood for peace and respected the Government of the Day led by President Uhuru and Deputy William Ruto.
Speaking in Kisii town to announce the outcome of a reconciliation bid between the party’s feuding factions, the chairman clarified it was not Ford P’s policy to delve into other parties’ businesses.
Nyaundi said whether Cord held its parallel meeting or not, Ford P will pursue its peaceful co-existence with the rest of the Kenyans including attending the National Day Celebrations scheduled at Nakuru tomorrow.
