Gor should not expect simple game, Nkata

The final Sportpesa Premier League (SPL) game between Tusker FC and Gor Mahia will be another ‘clash of titanic’.

This is according to Paul Nkata, the head coach of SPL champions Tusker FC who has warned Gor Mahia that they will not take their final match  lightly, even though its outcome has no impact on their final ranking.

Tusker were crowned won the title last weekend after beating AFC Leopards 1-0 in Nakuru.

“This is a serious league match and although we have won the title, we will not take it lightly,” said Nkata.

We will be ready to play the (Gor) and because we know that they are bitter after losing the title, we expect a tough challenge,” he added.

Tusker were one point ahead of Gor Mahia before the Sunday match against AFC.

A loss for Tusker would have meant that the league winner would have been determined on the last match day.
