Deputy President Prof.Kithure Kindiki has called for a consesus building by all leaders in the country noting that it will go a long way in promoting unity and inclusivity for Kenyans. highlighting it as a cornerstone for realizing
The second in command emphasized the importance of consensus-building as a cornerstone for realizing the nation’s goals, including the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA) and Vision 2030.
“Our Country requires consensus building by all leaders, stakeholders and members of the public on the most effective way of accelerating the national vision of fostering national unity and inclusive prosperity for all the people of Kenya,” stated Prof.Kindiki.
In efforts to recognizing the vital role of every sector, the DP highlighted government’s commitment in ensuring that the input by all citizens will be considered for a better country.
“The Government is committed to ensuring that the input and voice of all role players forms part of a national consensus towards a better country for us and future generations,” DP Kindiki noted.
“Realization of Kenya’s national interest and implementing the Bottom up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA) and Vision 2030 needs all hands on deck and an all out intention to make the input of all stakeholders count,” added the DP.
The call comes as Kenya seeks to solidify its development trajectory, anchored on inclusivity, equity, and sustainable progress.
The Deputy President’s sentiments were expressed during a consultative meeting held at Harambee House Annex with various Members of Parliament, who shared their views on how the Government can collaborate with elected leaders to accelerate the implementation of the country’s development agenda.
