Following an attack by bandits in Kasiela, Baringo South where over 100 livestock were stolen, Baringo Governor Stanley Kiptis has appealed to National Government to beef security as exams begins.
Kiptis said the candidates in regions which have been experiencing insecurity should sit for their exam without anyone disturbing them since the national exam will shape their destiny urging the government to deploy more security officers in the region.
Nominated MCA Francis Kibai said it was sad that the daring bandits are attacking even as security operation is ongoing saying the government should protect the schools against attack from bandits.
