How to keep teeth white and clean always

A person is often judged not just by how he conducts himself but also by how sleek and clean his or her physical appearance is.Keeping your teeth clean and white all the time is essential.Often basic stuff such as brushing your teeth and doing flossing are not enough to keep your teeth clean; you can do them all and still develop plaque on your teeth, more so if you also partake in tea, coffee, sugar, candy, smoking etc., because these things make your teeth yellowish pretty fast.

Ways of keeping your teeth clean and white always:

Use a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda

Who needs chemical based teeth whitening solutions when you can get a cheaper solution in the form of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda; not many people know that these are two major teeth whitening agents available.

All you have to do is to mix the two together into a paste, apply it on your teeth, let it remain there for a couple of minutes, then wash your mouth and start brushing your teeth with a fluoride-based toothpaste as usual!

Buy gel whitening strips

In case you don’t know already, gel whitening strips are one of the quickest ways to get rid of yellowish teeth. Just buy a few of those strips from your local chemist shop.

These strips come with helpful instructions so you would face no problem in using them even if you have never used them before.

They usually last from anywhere from one week to two weeks. Being rich in all the well known teeth whitening chemicals such as bleach and hydrogen peroxide, you could not have asked for a better teeth whitening solution!

Replace your toothbrush often

It is important to make sure that you are not using the same toothbrush for more than three months. Toothbrushes are important for converting your yellow teeth into white, but that won’t happen with a toothbrush which is more than three months old because by then the toothbrush’s brittles become worn out.

A worn out toothbrush won’t be able to remove the plaque buildup or the bacteria hiding in between the corners of your teeth.

Also, if you have been sick within those three months then your toothbrush would be certainly infected with bacteria, fungi and viruses; reusing such a toothbrush would make you fall sick again. So be sure to change your toothbrush every three months.

Use coconut oil

Not the chemical based coconut oil, mind you – that won’t do the trick. When buying coconut oil from your local store, always ask for ‘virgin coconut oil’ as that is the best version of natural coconut oil available and can help you in whitening your teeth.

All you have to do is to put a tablespoonful of this coconut well into your mouth, swoosh it well in your mouth so that all the teeth are equally rinsed with this solution.

This is helpful both for whitening your teeth as well as in killing the bacteria in your mouth. After keeping the oil in your mouth for fifteen minutes, you can rinse your mouth with water and start brushing your teeth as usual.

Use apple cider vinegar for rinsing your mouth

If your toothbrush and toothpaste are not enough to remove the plaque and stains from your teeth, consider adding a little bit of apple cider vinegar to your toothpaste while brushing.

Likewise, you can also use this solution to rinse your mouth after you are done brushing. This way your teeth would always be free from germs, plaques and stains!

Increase your raw food intake

Nothing makes your teeth go yellow faster than processed and junk foods. Avoid those foods and start eating raw fruits and vegetables more often.

Not only they would help in keeping your teeth squeaky clean, they also improve your blood circulation as well as maintain the health of your gums.

Some natural fruits help you both in keeping your teeth white as well as keeping your breath good; such fruits are strawberries, apples, celeries, carrots, etc.

Use strawberries to brush your teeth

I have already suggested strawberries as one of the best foods available for teeth whitening; you can take this a step further and use strawberry paste on your yellowish teeth for an even quicker solution!

All you have to do is to crush four or five strawberries together in such a way that they form a paste. Apply this paste on your teeth either with the help of your finger or toothbrush.

Let it sit there for five minutes, after which you must rinse your mouth well with water, so that strawberry leftovers don’t start eating away your enamel! You can use this same trick with lemon peels and orange peels too, and you would get the same astounding results.

Keep in mind that you can use any one or all of the seven solutions above to keep your teeth clean and white, but whatever option you choose, be sure to be consistent about it because most of the methods listed here won’t give you instant results!
