The panel selected to oversee the process of recruiting new Independent elections and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, has announced vacancies for the posts of chairperson and members of the commission.
The deadline for any eligible candidate wishing to sever as an IEBC officer has been set as November 7th, the day all the potential candidates should have tendered their applications.
The panel is headed by Bernadette Musundi of the Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops who was was elected as the chairperson of the IEBC selection panel last week.
among the crucial qualifications for the member of the commission position include sufficient knowledge in governance, electoral matters, finance and law – besides holding a degree from a recognized university.
