Jaguar ‘relocates’ to Mukuru slums

Kenyan pop singer Jaguar wants to make a positive impact for people in the slums.The Kigeugeu hit-maker was at Nairobi’s Mukuru Kwa Reuben for charity on Thursday.He donated foodstuffs to various women’s groups during his visit.

Jaguar, who is also a director at the anti-drugs body NACADA, also donated assorted sport equipment to the youth in the area.He stated that empowering the youth through sports and performing arts not only helps them harness their talents, but prevents them from getting involved in crime, alcohol and drug abuse.

Jaguar said that he is not doing that for anything else but to see that the youth are kept off drugs, alcohol and crime.

The youth should be kept engaged in positive activities that would improve their living standards and lifestyles.
