Kenya Breweries Limited through its flagship spirit brand Johnnie Walker celebrated this year’s Father Day in style by sponsoring a golf tournament for fathers and their sons. The event dubbed ‘Father’s Golf Day’ was held at the Railways Golf Club, Nairobi and involved pairs of fathers and their sons competing in a nine-hole round of golf.
Shiv Mandavia teamed up with his father Jitu Mandavia to score an impressive round of 46 points to win the inaugural Father’s Golf Day tournament at the Railways Golf Club Nairobi, sponsored by Johnnie Walker.
The icing on the cake for the team’s impressive performance came when Shiv hit an incredible hole-in-one on the par three-hole number 6. Meanwhile, Ali Mwanzi playing with his son Faiz Mwanzi carded 42 points to come second ahead of Michael Nderitu who teamed up with his son Isaiah Nderitu who managed 40 points to claim third position in the tournament played in a four-ball better format.
