Ugandan superstar Jose Chameleone is pretty excited about his upcoming show in Nairobi. The Tubonge hit maker is scheduled to perform at the Galileo Lounge this Saturday, a show his fans have eagerly been waiting for.
Chameleone, who is still fresh from his prolonged tour of the United States promises the fans nothing less than a thrilling experience.
He says: “Am gonna treat my special guests to a hit after hit.
“All my lovely Nairobi fans, let’s have a blast!”What’s your favorite song so I put it on my showcase playlist? Name it!”
The celebrated singer is one of the artistes from across the continent featured in the fourth season of non-competitive music show Coke Studio Africa.
In the new season of the pan-African TV show, Chameleone collaborates with Mozambican Marrabenta singer Neyma. He recently rubbished allegations that he practices witchcraft for his music success.
The accusations were made by a Ugandan dancehall singer Badman Denzo, who was reported to have alleged that Chameleone often frequents Tanzania for witchcraft.
His show in Nairobi will be hosted by Classic 105 breakfast presenter Maina Kageni.
The popular presenter has been missing from the airwaves for some weeks now, after he was taken ill following a surgery on his knee.
The surgery followed an injury he sustained during a road trip in Kajiado in July, which damaged crucial ligaments in the knee.
However, he has since been discharged from hospital and has been recuperating quite well at home. Maina is expected to resume duty at the radio station any time soon.
