JP hold its first meeting at Bomas of Kenya

Speaking today at Bomas of Kenya, president Uhuru Kenyatta accompanied by his Deputy President William Ruto as Jubilee Party held its first congress, the president applauded the party delegates decision to merge and form one coalition.

Kenyatta highlighted the Jubilee developments as per their manifestos during their campaigns. Among them include Standard Gauge Railway, modernization of security, free maternity, improving on security and free laptops that the ruling coalition said that they have delivered in full.

Uhuru blasted the opposition for saying (during their 2013 campaigns) that electing Jubilee was of harm to the country noting that Jubilee has lived to the constitution and implemented everything that was to be implemented.

“For three years, we have improved Kenya, made it move from position 132 to the current 92,” the president posed.

The president adde that the main reason behind the Jubille Party is only agenda, to unify the whole Nation.

“I would like us to united and make campaign teams that combine all the communities,” he added.

Uhuru reiterated his previous remarks that IEBC will hold the party nominations, as JP leads the public in holding free and fair elections.

“Let us not go to the politics with your people, then come to tell me I have this number of people. I have only one vote, let us sell the party and and then we go back to look for individual remarks,” Uhuru warned the JP party members.
