The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has shortlisted 100 candidates for the 20 advertised positions as judges of the High Court of Kenya.
According to the notice by JSC, 305 applicants applied for the positions but only 100 were shortlisted. “On 13 October 2023, the Judicial Service Commission (ISC) invited applications for twenty (20) vacancies from qualified persons wishing to be considered for appointment to the positions of judge of the High Court of Kenya, ”
“At the close of the advertisement on 31 November, 2023 a total of three hundred and five (305) applications were received. The JSC having reviewed the applications for completeness and conformity with the requirements as set out in the advertisement, shortlisted one hundred (100) candidates.” Read the notice in part.
The interviews for the positions will be carried out from 3rd to 30th April 2024, at CBK Pension Towers. The location is 13th Floor Harambee Avene Nairobi. The JSC has also invited members of the public to avail in writing any information of interest related to the shortlisted candidates on or before 21st March 2024, 5 pm.
” Take note that the commission may interview any member of the public who has submitted information on any of the shortlisted candidates and such information shall be kept confidential.” concluded the notice.
