Jubilee Party elections in Samburu County were full of scuffle despite calls for peaceful elections.
The Senate Majority Leader Kindiki Kithure had requested those taking part to do them in harmony but they failed to heed to the call.
A woman was injured on the head after she was hit by another woman during the confrontation.
The injured was rushed to hospital with the offender arrested for questioning.

All hell went loose after two groups clashed at Bishop Allamano Catholic Church in Maralal town.
The groups were in support of different candidates for county posts
Prof Kindiki, who was speaking at Kajiampau Polytechnic in Tharaka-Nithi County on Wednesday during the party’s election said there should be no power struggle among the members since they all have common interest and agenda
“We are all members of one party with a common goal of winning the 2017 elections and there is no need of conflicts,” said Prof Kindiki.
