Kabras sugar will be keen to halt their awful record against Kenya cup defending Champions KCB when the two sides play in the Kenya cup 2018/2019 season finals at the Kakamega showground this Saturday.

2016 Kenya cup Champions Kabras sugar will be keen to record their second cup success in the longer version of rugby when they host the evergreen KCB Lions at the Kakamega showground on Saturday 18th   May.

With the Kenya cup finals staged outside Nairobi for the first time in history, Kabras will be counting on home fan base and their impressive regular season run when they take on a side that has recorded 8 wins and 1 draw against them, 3 of them being in the Kenya cup finals.

Interestingly, even when the Millers won the Kenya cup title in the 2015/2016 season courtesy of a 22-5 win over impala they had lost 40-15 to KCB in the regular season.

Kenya international Davis Chenge is expected to make a return in KCB squad after being cleared by the team doctors. The big forward collapsed after a hard hit during their semifinal encounter against Kenya harlequins forcing him to be taken out for his safety following the referee’s directive.

Kabras Sugar rugby coach Henley du Plessis has rallied his charges to take advantage of the home ground advantage and record their maiden win against KCB to secure the coveted rugby title.
