Kalonzo defends Foundation, terms the move a witch-hunt

Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has termed the move to freeze his foundation accounts by NGO Board political witch-hunt.; exonerates @UKenyatta in plot

Musyoka has however exonerated President Uhuru Kenyatta in the plot to have his foundation accounts frozen.

“You cannot freeze accounts without a court order, I know Uhuru Kenyatta is not involved,” the Wiper Leader said while addressing a presser.

“We have not been served with court orders. No account can be frozen without court orders,” he added.

Kalonzo further said that Fazul cleared them on April 10th and has questioned what happened between April 10th and May 2nd.

“The allegations against KalonzoFoundation are now what you say hitting below the belt. KalonzoFoundation accounts sometimes operate in dollars because of high interest rates charged on local currency.

Chines bought the materials

Musyoka acknowledged that the Foundation received money from the Chinese firm

“Yes, Sh50m was given as a dummy cheque. The Chinese brought the materials and built 5 primary schools,” Kalonzo said.
