KATHIANI MP SLAMS EDUCATION CS OVER CONSOLIDATION OF CANDIDATES.

Kathiani member of Parliament Robert mbui has maintained that the ministry of education through CS Prof George Magoha should stop attempts aimed at consolidating Schools with less than 30 candidates registered for National exams . Speaking while attending a retirement ceremony at Kalala primary school in Kathiani the wiper organizing secretary advised the ministry to allow pupils sit for their exams in their centers.
The Legislator said if the policy was to be implemented many learners in the arid and semi arid schools would be affected bearing in mind that many schools are far away. Mbui revealed that he has tabled a statement in the National assembly to bar the policy be implemented. The vocal Wiper MP criticized County governments for neglecting ECDE teachers urging the Senate and county assemblies to push for accountability for funds set for ECDE teachers.
