KCSE CELEBRATIONS/ST MARY STEPHEN NKOITOI SECONDARY SCHOOL TOPS IN NAROK COUNTY DESPITE HAVING THREE TEENAGE MOTHERS

Various schools in Narok county continued to celebrate exemplary performance in the recently released Kenya Certificate of secondary education despite the county ranking in teenage pregnancies.At the St.Mary  Stephen Nkoitoi secondary school the school recorded a mean grade  of  6.67 up from 6.2 in the previous year.  Three instances of teenage pregnancies were reported at the school that had  171 candidates. According to the principal Sister Emmanuel Mayoo the school performed well this year despite the challenges that came about when the schools closed due to the corona virus pandemic. Sister Mayoo expressed that the school performed well this year lauding the students who sat for the 2020 KCSE.She confirmed that the three students who sat for their examinations  while pregnant passed the examinations with grades above C+.
