Kenya drops FIFA points despite latest form

Kenya National football men’s team has dropped by four points in the current FIFA rankings.

Hrambee stars moved down to position 89 from the previous 85, -4 points.

This comes despite the Stars showing positivity in form from the last eight matches.

Captain by Tottenham midfielder, Victor Mugumbi Wanyama, the stars managed a run of 8 unbeaten games,

Drawing four, the stars won 4, with the recent win being 1-0 against Liberia.

Following the win, Football Kenya Federation (FKF) president Nick Mwendwa praised the progress shown by the Harambee Stars.

The president stated his confidence in the team, emanating from the organization in the team and he noted that his office has the plan to improve the facilities available for the national teams so the federation can cut costs as well as give the teams the best treatment they can get yet.

He further lauded the coaching staff for a professional handling of the team.

“I am also impressed by the technical stuff the coaches are doing behind the scenes; it is amazing and the result we have not lost in eight matches,” he said.
