The national women rugby 15s team Kenya lionesses moved their world score to 46.71 points to move above Jamaica, Denmark and Fiji in the world women rankings according to the latest release from the world rugby governing body.
Kenya occupies a historic 25th position as New Zealand’s black ferns remain firmly rooted at the helm of the rankings. Kenya failed to qualify directly for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics after falling to South Africa 39-0 in their final Africa Women’s 15s match. The home girls will have to play the winner of South American qualifiers for a right to compete in the global repechage that will determine who will secure the final ticket for the 2020 Olympics.
