The National Women Rugby 15s aside Kenya Lionesses have resumed training ahead of the Rugby Africa Women’s 15s Cup which doubles up as World Cup qualifiers.
The coach Fred Oloo led charges will be keen to build on to their Elgon Cup success when they kick off their campaign against Madagascar on August 9th before playing neighbours Uganda on August 13th. Lionesses will play host South Africa in their last game on August 17th.
The winner of the tournament will qualify directly to the world cup with the second-best team playing a selected South American side to join the Repechage Tournament.
