The National Men’s Basketball team Kenya Morans continued with their impressive run in the inaugural edition of the 2019 International Basketball Federation African Tournament in Bamako Mali storming into the semifinals courtesy of an 82-76 win over Tunisia in the quarter-finals.
Tunisia had a slim lead in the opening two quarters with 20-19 and 16-14 leads before the Moran bounced back to scoop a 10 gap lead in the third quarter. The Kenyan dream team pushed for 82-76 win in overtime to qualify for the semis where they will take on morocco.
Kenya qualified for the last 8 after beating Ivory Coast in the round of 16.
Tyler Ongwae is the tournament lead scorer with 75 points.
