Kenya Sevens men team lose 14-24 to France

Kenya sevens (7s) men National Rugby team lost their match against France during Dubai Sevens competitions.

Kenya broke the lead with Nelson Oyoo getting the first try for the match.

Lugonzo converted the try to give Kenya deserved 7-0 lead.

Some seconds later, Ambaka spotted a gap and make use of his speed scored the second try for the match.

With Kenya 12-0 ahead, Lugonzo made the conversion to hand Kenya 14-0 lead against France.

With the Shujaa holding their lines, France broke the defence and managed the team’s first try to make it 14-5 before the first half.

France again pressed deeper and scored another try which they converted making Half time score stand as Kenya 14-12 France.

With four minutes to end second half, France took the lead after failing to convert a try to 14-17, leaving the Shujaa confused.

France further pressed harder, and won another try which they successfully converted two minutes to full time.

It was a game of two half with Kenya winning first half and Frace winning Second half.

Kenya faces Japan in the next fixture, and later play Australia.
