Kenya U20 rugby team to train in South Africa

The national under 20 rugby team popularly known as chipu will conduct training in South Africa from next month ahead of their 2019 world rugby under 20 trophy campaign set to kick off from July 9th to 21st in Brazil.

According to the team manager Jimmy Mnene,chipu is banking on the government support to make the trip a reality with the Kenya rugby union having already submitted a 15 million shillings budget to the ministry of sports.

Kenya will represent Africa in the global competition courtesy of winning the 2019 Barthes trophy after thrashing heavyweights Namibia.
