Kenyan Editors and Government officials have forged a strategic partnership between the government and the media for effective information delivery.
The Office of the Government Spokesperson, led by Spokesman Isaac Mwaura, and the National Government Communications Centre organized a vital breakfast gathering at Sarova Pan Afric Hotel with Kenyan Editors.
They discussed the essential collaboration between the media and government to efficiently disseminating information to the public.
The partnership between media and government significantly shapes the information that is available to the public at all times.

This is because the government relies on the media to distribute information to the public on various in various aspects of life including housing, education, health, safety, and political perspectives.
Conversely, media critically assesses information, and nurtures engaging dialogues that enrich the progressive development of a nation’s identity, guaranteeing its continual growth is never stifled.
The freedom of the media to gather, collect, package and disseminate information to the public is guaranteed by Article 34 of the Constitution of Kenya.
