Kenyan Woman Nabbed With 2.5 kg of Cocaine At New Delhi Airport

Indian officials of Delhi Customs have arrested a Kenyan woman with 2.5 kilograms of cocaine with an estimated value of Ksh 380 million-Ksh 560 million at the New Delhi airport.

The authority will determine the exact value after extraction under court supervision.

The woman, who landed in New Delhi through Addis Ababa, was traveling with the drugs stuffed in three whisky bottles in a dissolved form.

She has since been detained under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (NDPS). During interrogation, the woman revealed that the bag she was carrying was handed over to her in Nairobi, and she was to hand it over to another person in Delhi.

Nonetheless, the Indian authorities have not revealed the name of the woman and the charge preferred on her.
