Kenya’s Nationwide Campaign To Tap Into EU Markets Under EPA

In a ground breaking initiative aimed at propelling Kenya’s economic growth, a nationwide sensitization module is being launched to enlighten the Kenyan business community on the immense opportunities presented by the European Union (EU) Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA).

“We are embarking on a nationwide sensitization module aimed at appraising the Kenyan business community on the vast opportunities presented by the European Union (EU) Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA),” stated CS Mvurya.

According to Cabinet Secretary for Mining, Blue Economy & Maritime Affairs, this strategic campaign will offer in-depth insights into the benefits of the agreement, highlighting its potential to open new markets for Kenyan products across all 27 EU member states.

“This strategic initiative will provide comprehensive insights into the benefits and potential of the agreement, which promises to open new markets for Kenyan products across all 27 European Union member states,” Mvurya added.

The EPA, a transformative trade agreement, is set to significantly enhance Kenya’s trade prospects, offering unprecedented access to a vast and diverse market.

“It is crucial that both the business and investor communities are fully informed on the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) as a transformative agreement that will significantly enhance Kenya’s trade prospects the stakes involved—not only for the private sector but also for public and government agencies,” said CS Mvurya.
