Kenyatta University on Sunday opened the culture celebrations that will be taking place from 30th October to 6th November, on Sunday next month.
According to a statement from the office of public relations, the theme for celebrations is “Celebrating 25 Years of Culture Convergence; Our Origin, Our Life, Our Legacy”.
The culture week is a major in the University which seeks to celebrate its important milestone and commemorate its rich history.
“The festival will feature thrilling local and international performances,” read the statement.
The event will be opened officially on Tuesday 1st November during the official Opening ceremony with Hon. Francis ole Kaparo, Chairman, National Cohesion and Integration Commission gracing the event as the Chief guest.
The Grand Finale for the Culture Week 2016 will be held on 6 th November 2016 in the University Amphitheatre.
