Female members of Kericho County assembly have recorded a statement at Kericho police station following alleged sexual harassment by their male counterparts.

In a statement read to the press at the assembly by Fancy Korir (Nominated MCA), the female MCAs were allegedly harassed by a section of their male counterparts by using vulgur langauge, during their two day induction at Ciala Resort in Kisumu.

Korir accused one of the male MCAs for sexist pronouncement in full glare of the members of the assembly, saying that it does not only demean them but it is also disrespectful to the women leaders in the society. They also reported the matter to FIDA for further action.
