The reality megastar came under fire for dressing her four-year-old daughter North West in a “corset”.
The controversy comes so soon after white lines thought to be cocaine were spotted in the background of her Snapchat video by her fans.
The 36-year-old and her daughter were pictured out and about in New York.
North wore an orange silk slip dress that featured a corset-style panel at the front which tied up and was emblazoned with a flower pattern.
Kim was obliterated on Twitter for putting her daughter in the frock with many deeming that the dress wasn’t age appropriate.
“North West wearing a corset? Let the child be a child,” one user fumed.
“I know I can’t be the only one that’s weirded out by Kim K’s baby North wearing a corset…,” another tweeted.
After the verbal lashing, Kanye West’s wife took to Twitter to explain to her followers that it wasn’t a corset.
“This dress I didn’t design, but I actually bought is not a corset,” she began.
“It’s just fabric on the front that looks like a corset. I think it’s really cute…It’s just fabric people – it’s not a real corset.”
Alongside the clip which sees her showing close-ups of the dress, Kim added: “I would never put my daughter in a corset! Relax it’s a dress I bought that is fabric that laces up and looks like a corset!”
This isn’t the first time Kim has had to make a video to set the record straight with the public.
After the white line controversy, Kim later showed that the lines were marble in a vid – and not candy as she first thought – after being questioned by her followers.
