KOT take on President Uhuru, demand for more accountability

The hash tags #MrPresidentTumechoka and  #CorruptionFightingBack are currently trending on the social media following uproar over ran away corruption facing the Jubilee government.

‘Take action Mr. President’ is the seemingly the new mantra in town following the spiraling corruption cases dogging the country’s social-economic fiber.

Twitter is awash with angry comments most of them demanding for more accountability.

Lord Abraham Mutai‏ @ItsMutai  commented …

Henry Rotich who has been Cabinet Secretary for Treasury for years is the gatekeeper of all LOOTERS.  He knows who loots what amount of Money but is serving comfortably in @UKenyatta‘s cabinet. All payments are released from Treasury. #MrPresidentTumechoka

MorHenry Rotich who has been Cabinet Secretary for Treasury for years is the gatekeeper of all LOOTERS. He knows who loots what amount of Money but he does nothing. All payments are released from Treasury. But is serving comfortably in @UKenyatta‘s cabinet

Ureport Kenya‏ t @UreportKe  commented…Kenyans are tired of Uhuru’s empty threats against corruption #MrPresidentTumechoka

Elsewhere JOHNNY‏ @Ibrahimjohnny Please resign. We have suffered heavily under your rule and you want us to believe its others who are looting under your watch. The buck stops with you. You are responsible for all the looting under you.#MrPresidentTumechoka

And despite the move by the president to reshuffle his cabinet today Lord Abraham Mutai‏ @ItsMutai said

This executive order #CabinetReshuffle was quickly drafted and sent to media houses to pacify angry KENYANS currently throwing stones at #MrPresidentTumechoka. It is meant to divert attention and lower the public anger. We know. Mr President Wacha mchezo. Radical surgery!!

These are just but some of few reactions from angered Kenyans. And going by the tone as set, it’s no doubt that more vigor to demand for accountability is gaining momentum.
