Kenya Premier League defending Champions Gor Mahia will not play Sudanese side Al Hilal in a friendly match that was scheduled for Thursday 1st August. This is according to the club’s CEO Lordvick Aduda.
Gor had scheduled the friendly as part of their preparations for the CAF Champions League assignment against Aigle Noir CS of Burundi. According to Aduda, Sudanese giants Al Hilal have opted to conduct camp in Egypt ahead of their Champions League encounter with Rayon Sports of Rwanda.
Gor will be keen to secure a group stage slot in the CAF Champion’s League this season after narrowly missing out last season.
