Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) was temporarily closed today for one how.
According to airport authorities, this was to allow a military drill to be carried out at the airport.
“The scheduled JKIA airport closure between 1120hrs-1220hrs is due to Jamhuri fete military drill,” Kenya Airways said through a tweet.

Kenya Airways (KQ) stated that at least nine of its flights would be affected by the closure which will start from 11.20am – 12.20pm.
