The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) is a government agency responsible for coordinating the placement of students into universities and colleges in Kenya.
After a rigorous selection process, KUCCPS has finalized the placement of applicants into universities and colleges ensuring that qualified candidates have been allocated slots in institutions that match their academic preferences and qualifications.
Students can log into students.kuccps.net to check the details of the university or college placement.
In 2023, 85% of KCSE candidates scoring C+ and above submitted applications, with 76.2% choosing Degree courses and the remaining 11,991 opting for diploma programs.
The Bachelor of Education program garnered the highest number of applicants.
Male candidates maintained their dominance in Degree program placements, a trend seen since the inception of the central placement system.
Conversely, female students constituted the majority of those placed in TVET programs from the 2020/2021 Cycle to the present.
The successful placement of applicants is a cause for celebration not only for the individuals involved but also for their families, teachers, and the entire education community.
The organization encourages students to pursue their passions, excel in their studies and contribute positively to society.
