Four people have been confirmed dead in today’s road accident.
The accident occurred after TCC bus rolled at Mazera injuring more than 21 people.
The accident is reported to have occurred around 6am.
The PSV bus heading to Mombasa veered off the road at Mazeras and plunged into a valley.
Rescue mission commenced later but those present were being hampered by lack of equipment such as gas metal cutters.
The injured passengers were taken to the Coast Provincial General Hospital with one in critical condition being transferred to a private hospital.
