LSK team in Kitui needs thorough investigation on what killed Kitui prosecutor

Two days after the mysterious death of lawyer Kevin Gesire who worked as a Kitui based prosecutor, the Kitui LSK members have come out to express their dissatisfaction by the report which was given out by the police claiming that the state counsel had committed suicide inside his rented house at site estate.

The Kitui lawyers led by their chairman Morris Kimuli blamed police for reports they gave out to the public claiming that Kevin had committed suicide and not killed.

They said that conclusion was made very fast before the police could wait for the deep investigations.

The statement which was read out by lawyer Grace Muatha outside the Kitui law court demanded DCI to do thorough investigations to unearth the mysterious death of the 34 year old prosecutor.

The LSK team as they sent their condolences to the family of the deceased said they will designate their team to support the police and the family.

At the same time a team from DCI Nairobi headquarters spend the better part of the day at the apartment where the late lawyer used to stay, doing their investigations.

Kevin’s body was found inside his bathroom lying there on Tuesday morning while his BMW personal car was outside the apartments mechanically broken.

Sources say the lawyer was fighting depression over sour love triangle and used to party on daily bases to console himself.

His body was transferred to Nairobi for postmortem.
