Kenya’s Lupita Nyong’o has made a name for herself featuring in high class films that cannot be likened to any other.
Although she featured in East River (2008) In My Genes (2009) , she was hailed for 12 years A Slave back in 2013 and from that day she has never looked back.
She went ahead to feature in Star Wars : The Force Awakens(2015), Queen Of Katwe (2016) The Jungle Book (2016) and Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017)
The film we are highlighting today is Black Panther that will be released on February 2018.
Black Panther Synopsis
“After the events of Captain America: Civil War, King T’Challa returns home to the reclusive, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to serve as his country’s new leader. However, T’Challa soon finds that he is challenged for the throne from factions within his own country. When two foes conspire to destroy Wakanda, the hero known as Black Panther must team up with CIA agent Everett K Ross and members of the Dora Milaje, Wakandan special forces, to prevent Wakanda from being dragged into a world war.”
Lupita Nyong’o will to play a Wakandan called Nakia. In the comics, she was a member of the royal bodyguard called the Dora Milaje, but was kicked out for becoming obsessed with Black Panther and trying to kill his lover. She hooked up with Killmonger and gained supernatural powers as the villain Malice.
We all look forward to this great movie and seeing the best of Lupita that is yet to come.
