Maraga urges the Judiciary to work towards regaining Kenyans’ trust

Chief Justice, David Maraga has urged judges to once and for all deal with the backlog of cases. Kenyans have time and time again accused the Judiciary of deliberately dragging cases to frustrate the course of Justice.

Maraga was speaking at a conference to deliberate on the state of the Judiciary in Mombasa. He called out the Judiciary for dragging court cases making Kenyans loose trust in courts. He was concerned that the judiciary has been on the receiving end from Kenyans and politicians on how judges and magistrates are dragging cases.

The meeting brought together Supreme Court judges, Appellate judges among other learned members.
