Bishop Margaret Wanjiru of Jesus Is Alive Ministries had an emotional message for the Kenya Kwanza Government after the demolition of her church.

Speaking at a press conference, the Bishop lamented that she had been ‘roughed up’ by NIS Security Agencies on the day her church was demolished.

“I was roughed up, given a thorough beating, phones, and cameras taken away,” she recounted the events.

She claimed that when vehicles from the DCIO headquarters arrived at her church, she believed assistance had come, only for the officers to subject her to physical assault along with her staff.

“Between the NIS, the DCIO Security Agencies, and the regular police, they had no shame beating me up, beating up my staff to the extent of lifting my skirt. I could not believe it.” lamented Wanjiru. An emotional Margaret Wanjiru went ahead to assert that her land was not grabbed.

“We, The Jesus Is Alive Ministries have never grabbed anybody’s land. We don’t even accept land that doesn’t have a title deed. We bought these properties many years ago and they are our properties.”

Wanjiru pointed out that the properties lining the lane of her church were owned by investors, refuting the claim that they belonged to Railways. She expressed that they were contending with land grabbers, backed by influential entities, to the extent that they were untouchable.

Addressing the president and his deputy, she expressed her disappointment with the government. ” We loved you, were supported you, and you have rewarded us with broken legs, broken arms, and hurting bodies. You have rewarded us with evil.”

A discontented Wanjiru called out the president and his deputy for failing to assist her despite her request for their intervention.

“My president and my deputy President, this Margaret Wanjiru that was beaten and my clothes lifted by hangmen who are police security agents, they touched my thighs, me, a woman of God. I want to make a very sweet promise to you. Believe me, you will look for me,” she warned.

She further added,” You went for Benny Hinn in America, for me, you will look for me and I am not moving, I will be here. You have started a fight that you cannot fight. This one is in the heavens.”

She stated that she had owned the land for a long time without issues.

“You are using the MD Railways, I pity his family. Because as I cried yesterday and today, his family and yours are not exempted, my tears will pay.”

Wanjiru stated that she was disappointed with the Kenya Kwanza government. ” I was one of the founding members of the UDA, I campaigned 2 years straight when others came to steal what I had worked for,” she said.

“I have loved you my president and deputy president, I have prayed for you and your families. When you called I answered, but behold, from today, take it from this altar, tables are turning.” She concluded by noting that if anything happened to her or her family or any of her other properties, she blamed the president and his deputy.
