Migori High school fire causes huge losses

A dormitory with a capacity of 200 students was razed down at Migori Boys High school on Wednesday night. This happened when the students were in class for evening preps. No casualties were reported.

The fire, whose cause is yet to be established, went off after heavy rains started pounding the area. Police cordoned off the institution.

On Monday a dormitory at Thim Jope high in Uriri was also set ablaze. No injuries were reported.
