MIGRATION GRAVEL CYCLING SERIES TO BOOST LOCAL TOURISM

Over 60 participants drawn from different nationalities participated in a 60km unmarked cycling race dubbed as Migration gravel series first series.

According to one of the organizers Zack Gichane Murang’a county is luckY to hold the first series where the terrain basically will be where the Mau mau road is being done and will go a long way in boosting local tourism in all the counties where the series will be held.

He urged both the County and National government to support such sports by creating an enabling environment such as tax exemption in importing bikes which are quite expensive and hosting such events.

Sule Kangangi a participant in various races both locally and internationally says that apart from awards and getting to travel, cycling keeps one fit both physically and mentally.

Federico an Italian nationalist who participated in the race with his wife says its good to nature kids in different sports and encourage them to grow in the sports.
