Queues are expected to form around the block next month after an Italian glamour model offered to perform a sex act on everyone who voted No in yesterday’s referendum.
Paola Saulino, 27, is flying from her home in Los Angeles to 10 Italian cities for The Pompa Tour.
Pompa is an Italian slang word for a certain sexual act and the image promoting the tour which Ms Saulino posted on Twitter showed her sucking a lollipop.
She first made the promise on November 23 and she has now announced tour dates in 10 Italian cities next month, saying: ‘I am a woman of my word.’
The Sun reported that Ms Saulino said: ‘Those who say NO to the referendum will be waiting in delight for my Pompa Tour in January for what I promised to those who voted no.’
She tweeted at the weekend: ‘Everything in the utmost fairness and serenity. The tour will continue in smaller cities, will end by December 2018.’
Ms Saulino claimed she would be visiting Rome, Florence, Bologna, Verona, Milan, Turin, Naples, Bari, Lecce and Palermo in January for the first leg of her promise and urged people to fill in a booking form if they had voted No.
Fabio Bertini tweeted her: ‘I’ll wait in Florence on (January) 9 after voting convincingly NO. PS would you know where to find you in Florence?’
One chancer, American Rifleman, tweeted to her: ‘ I voted NO. Are you coming to Alaska?’
Several Italians horrified at the publicity stunt criticised Ms Saulino. One said: ‘You’re just throwing mud on those who defend the constitution.’
