He will also visit the University of Nairobi where he is set to pay his respects at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi.
The Prime Minister will then have talks with President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House before he tours other sites in the city.
Police have warned motorists that the plans may affect traffic flow on some roads including Chiromo Road, Uhuru Highway, Limuru Road, University Way, Kenyatta Avenue and State House Road.Police say the closure will be minimal to enable his motorcade pass.
