Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has given a stern warning to critics against writing him off as he pledges to complete his contract at Old Trafford..
He said: “I am at the club I want to be at and I am so happy to be here. I want to stay here until the end of my contract and then who knows?
“But I will be here for many years. I am a football man and I am still young. Sometimes people think I am 75 but I am 53 and I have a passion for the game.”
Mourinho signed a three-year contract with Manchester United in May this year, with an option to stay at the club until at least 2020. On 7 August 2016, Mourinho won his first trophy, the FA Community Shield, beating the league Champions Leicester City 2–1.
