MPs clash over recent appointments in parastatal boards as Ruto moi rivalry rises ahead of 2022.

Baringo North MP William Cheptumo and Baringo Women Representative Gladwel Tungo clashed during the burial of former Roads Minister Eng Andrew Chepkoiywa Kiptoon over the revoking of appointments by Ministry of Labour to parastatal boards.

The burial of the late minister played a ground to the political animosity between DP Ruto allies and Baringo Senator Gideon Moi lieutenants in the county where the Cheptumo blamed KANU over revoking of the names.

Augustus Chepkurwo, Vincent Kangogo are among gazzeted members from Baringo of Catering and Beverages Board which were revoked a week after Labour Cabinet Secretary Simion Chelugui made the appointments.

Clash ensued after Cheptumo blamed KANU for the revocation leading to halt of the burial which forced other leaders and security to calm Baringo Women Representative.

Tungo had distanced herself from the appointments saying she was not the appointing the authority.

Labour CS Simion Chelugui who was also present in the function chose to speak in local language saying every one should be respected in helping the county get appointments in government.

Political feuds is rising pitting Deputy President William Ruto and Gideon Moi after President Uhuru Kenyatta parted ways with Ruto in their second term.
