MUTURI VOWS TO MELT MT KENYA SNOW WITH HEATED CAMPAIGN

Speaker of the National Assembly Justin Muturi has promised to launch a grueling presidential campaign starting February 20 when the Democratic is expected to officially endorse him as the flag-bearer.
Mururi also warned other presidential contenders to brace for heated campaign that he plans to start in the Mt Kenya region and roll it out countrywide.
Said Muturi: “After I am crowned by Democratic Party as the presidential candidate, the Mt snow will melt, we will generate campaign heat not seen in the region before.”
He added, “Tell those who have been camping in Mt Kenya asking for votes, the ground is shifting, the mountain will get very slippery for them.”
“You have been entering Mt Kenya as if it is nobody’s ground, I’m now telling you to come slowly, there is someone to contend with.”
Muturi was speaking at Jumuiya Conference Centre ground, Limuru town, where he was endorsed by over 1000 delegates to vie for the presidency on a Democratic Party ticket.
He called on Mt Kenya voters and other party leaders to unite in one voting block and back him for presidency.
He said the Democratic Party National Delegates Conference to be held at Bomas of Kenya on February 20 will change the trend of the presidential contest.
“Mt Kenya has been without a serious presidential candidate, now I am here and we have a choice as the biggest voting block” said Muturi.
Today he will take his campaign to Isinya, where he will meet Maasai elders and grassroots politicians affiliated to the Democratic Party.
