The team’s exceptional performance throughout the season has earned them promotion to the FKF Premier League, marking a major milestone in the club’s journey.

Nairobi United showcased consistency, tactical discipline, and resilience, finishing at the top of the NSL table.

Their promotion to Kenya’s top-tier football league is a result of months of hard work, team spirit, and strong leadership both on and off the pitch.

Speaking after the final whistle of the season, Nairobi United head coach James Mwendwa expressed pride in the team’s achievement.

“This is a historic moment for the club. The players gave their all, the technical team stayed focused, and our fans believed in us from the start. Promotion was our goal and now we’ve achieved it,” he said.

The team’s captain Brian Otieno also praised the unity in the squad, crediting the success to determination and support from fans.

“We played every match like a final. The journey wasn’t easy, but every player pushed for this moment. We’re proud to take Nairobi United to the Premier League,” he said.

The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) congratulated the club, acknowledging their impact on the league this season and their potential to add competitive flair to the Premier League.

“Nairobi United has been outstanding. Their promotion adds fresh energy to our top league. We look forward to seeing them compete at the highest level,” said FKF spokesperson.

With this promotion, Nairobi United joins the elite ranks of Kenyan football and will face tougher competition in the upcoming 2025/26 FKF Premier League season.
