Narok Bishops join Sapit in banning politicians from addressing congregant during church service.

Top clergy in Narok County have announced a ban on all politicians from speaking in Churches during services.
Their sentiments came a month later after Anglican Church Archbishop Dr. Jackson Ole Sapit made similar sentiments at a concentration ceremony in Butere Kakamega County where top politicians were barred from addressing the congregation.

Speaking to the media after a closed door meeting Dr. Bishop Peter Ole Nakola of Full churches in narok who led them emphasized that their patron’s directive shall remain put unless for normal attendance by the said class. Nakola reminded area electorate to register as voters ahead of next year’s poll, sentiments echoed by Bishop Philip Nguku of Africa Inland Church and Patrick Sayialel Presiding Bishop Community Christian Church both who emphasized the need for peace and emulation by grassroots churches and support ban of leaders for addressing congregants

During the consecration ceremony of Bishop Rose Okeno then Ole Sapit decried that politicians had violated the sacred nature of the altar thereby banning them from speaking in Anglican Churches.
ODM leader Raila Odinga,ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi ,COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli fell victims of the directive and were never allowed to address congregants during the consecration.
