The National Super Alliance (NASA) has directed the government to reinstate the security for the two co-principals within a period of 24hrs.
According to earlier reports by NASA Deputy presidential candidate Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka, all the bodyguards belonging to him and Raila Odinga were ordered yesterday to report at GSU headquarters.
However, police denied the claims and now through Orange Democratic Movement Chairman, the coalition gave Jubilee 24 hours to reinstate the security which was withdrawn just hours ahead of the planned IEBC demos.
“This is not negotiable! Should anything happen to our any of our principals we shall place the blame squarely on President Uhuru Kenyatta and DP William Ruto,” warned Orange Democratic Movement Chairman John Mbadi, who was addressing media at Orange House in Nairobi.
NASA had called for demonstrations to force Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission CEO Ezra Chiloba to vacate office among other commissioners as the coalition issued the demand to IEBC ahead of the presidential re-run.
