Turkana Governor and former Council of Governors Chairperson, Josephat Nanok, has been vocal in drumming up support for DP Ruto despite being the Vice-Chair of ODM.
Mr Mbadi the Minority leader in the National Assembly said that Mr Nanok who is also an official in the party stopped participating in party affairs a long time ago.
Ugunja MP Opiyo Wandayi who also ODM director of political affairs is termed such moves by Nanok and other politicians as normal he also said the party goal is focused on prosperity for all. The two MPs said that Raila Odinga led party remains a movement where some leave as others join along the political terrain.
Mr Nanok the former council of governor chairman announced that he would support Dr Ruto on his quest to succeed President Kenyatta when his term ends. Nanok also backed Dr Ruto on his quest to succeed President Kenyatta when his term ends in 2022.
ODM Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna said on Monday that the party is yet to receive any complaint against governor Nanok to warrant any action from the party.
