This is poetry piece meant to discourage early teenage pregnancies, composed by Stylle Mundalo.
WHO FED AWILO?
Whoever fed Awilo must be taken to court
Whoever fed Awilo must be a man with a coat
Whoever fed Awilo must have promised her a passport
And lied that he works in the airport
Awilo says he wants her to abort
That He will finance the process in full support
Who Fed Awilo?
Who is this that fed Awilo
Who is this that has shuttered a Parent’s glow
Cheated her with the borrowed pillow
Now the young Awilo is deeply in sorrow
The doctor says her time is ripe, she can deliver even tomorrow
Awilo says only fruits some more
Who Fed Awilo?
Awilo calls the man sponsor
She says the man doesn’t have hair on his head
She says she cannot recognize his face
That even in light she cannot trace
All she remembers is the man bought her a dress
And that he drives a Range Rover
Now see he has made her stomach a range over
Who is this that fed Awilo?
Forgive our daughters men with food
You who feed our daughters
Now look at Awilo
Her stomach is full
Just because you made her a fool
And took her to the pool
See your Life!
See who you lied you will make a wife!
Whoever fed Awilo
Will suffocate in broad daylight!
